Skeleton Cupcakes...

We love fall for the fall goodies. I love to bake things and to give them away! My kiddos and I decided to make some cupcakes to share with there friends and families! Here are super cute little skeleton cupcakes...found on Family Fun! Here is how you do it!!
{Skeleton Cupcakes}
Item's Needed:
1- cake mix ( we used funfetti)
1- tub of whipped milk choc. frosting, or you can make your own
1- tub of white icing
Mini Marshmellows
2-3 ziploc bags
Step 1: Make your cake mix according to the directions on the box and fill your cupcake liners and bake them. I ended up with 22 cupcakes!!
Step 2: Let them cool completely
Step 3: Frost them all with the milk choc. frosting
Step 4: Take your Mini Marshmellows and draw little eyes and a smile on them. You can use the black writing icing...or you can use some of the leftover choc. frosting and stick it into a ziploc. You snip the end off and squeeze it out!!
Step 4: Take your white frosting and stick a couple spoonfuls into a ziploc bag and snip the end off. I snipped a small hole so it wasn't super thick! :) Then draw your bodies on with three little lines for the rib cage.
Step 5: Let them dry. Then put them on plate wrap them up with cute ribbon and cellophane and drop some off to your neighbors and friends!!
Love this! Cute little skeleton body! :)

ENJOY!! :)

  1. Hi, I am Julie Sayasounthone's youngest sister. She was telling me about all the cute things you do. I just browsed, but wow how cute and fun. I am hoping some of these ideas might keep me crafting through our long winters. Anyway, I also wanted to say that the pictures you took of her kids are darling. I am seriously debating having some done of my little family. We are coming home for thanksgiving (horrible timing), right. Just thought I would see if you had any openings...I don't know if my husband would go for it, ha ha. Let me know and your pricing too. Thanks so much. Crystal

  2. Hey Crystal! Thanks so much for your sweet comment! I love crafts and sharing my ideas! :) Thanks also for the compliment about the pictures! When will you be coming home?! We are headed out of town from Wednesday to Sunday?! I'm not sure when you come but we can try to get an evening in that we can shoot! I do childcare so I have kiddos until about 5:30. But anytime after that would be fine....although that doesn't give us much daylight! My one to one 1/2 hour session is $50. Half hour session is $25 :) Let me know when you will be here and we can work something out!

    Thanks so much!
    Tara
